Good Afternoon to all.  I know there is a lot of uncertainty in regards to our upcoming season and this summer.   There was a press release from the VHSL this past Thursday that sent a lot of information out that we were not ready for as a school division.   We are not allowed to have contact with players in any capacity at this time.   The press release stated we would as of today, but that is not true.   There are several documents that have to be completed and approved by Fauquier County Public Schools and Fauquier High School.   Until those documents are completed nothing can begin.   SO we are basically in a waiting pattern as to the summer and what we may be allowed to do.     Onto the upcoming season….which is completely up in the air as to how that will happen.  There is a lot of uncertainty with how we can have a season with all the guidelines and mandates we have to adhere too for us to be in the gym.   Until I have word from Mark Ott and Bryan Grimley we are praying that we will have a season to be honest.   The press release from the VHSL gives us a bit of an answer to moving forward, but not how that will happen.   I know the Ads talk each week trying to figure out what the fall will look like.   Please stay tuned for more information as I will keep you updated as I find out more information.   With all of the above information I know this leaves us in a place we have not been prior to the start of a season.  No going to Liberty University for camp, no open gyms, etc. which is not what I like to hear.   So with that being said I would highly recommend you all do some training for the season which I will send out soon as Kiki Scott has come up with a program to help you focus on some volleyball needs.   As normal, nothing is mandatory, but this summer it is important to begin preparing on your own and getting your hands on a volleyball if possible.     If you are a rising 9th grader and would like to receive emails and updates please email me at dstory@fcps1.org ...
