Girls Varsity Lacrosse vs. Brentsville

Well, 3 "W"s in a row. Good to see the girls sharing the wealth on the offensive side of the field last night.

Scoring was spread around and led by Emma Spector who was closely followed by Allie White and Juliette Ruland. Scoring was rounded out by Savannah Markell, Elle Del gallo and Alexis Flohr. Savannah, Juliette, Allie and Elle also racked up an assist for their efforts as well. Lauren Canard was a mainstay as she constantly fed the girls up top and down low with her passing.

Goalie Brenna Chappelle turned in another great performance with 11 saves. It's just so great not having to worry about the goalie position....

Like last week in our game with Kettle Run High School, key to the game - Draw Control... Juliette again showed us why she is Radford bound as she had 9. This week she was followed by Maddie Martin with 3; Emma with 2 and Savannah, Laura Elphee and Lexi Boone with 1 each. 17 draw controls out of a total of 26 goals - I can live with that, but we'll practice a bit harder.....

Defense once again came through..... Katie McCoy, Lexi Boone, Joan Clarke Yvie Frazier and Mindy Hale make up the core... Extremely pleased with the way the defense has come together over the past few weeks.

Really like the way the team has bonded and built up their confidence. Believe we are ready for our rematch against EasternView at home this coming Thursday.
