Playing back to back games for the fourth time this season, the girls were able to win a huge away game against their Evergreen District rivals Brentsville District High School. Both teams battled to take control of the game, but the girls ultimately won out when winger Cassidy Wagoner played a brilliant through ball to striker Megan Enos who placed the ball past the Tigers goalkeeper 11 minutes into the match. The girls struck again in the 24th minute when Megan won the ball from a Tigers defender on the left hand side of the 18 yard box and slotted the ball past the Tigers goalkeeper to give the girls a 2-0 advantage. Just over 2 minutes later Megan took a shot that was saved by the Tigers goalkeeper but deflected into the center of the field to the edge of the 18 yard box. With the keeper down Cassidy collected the deflection and chipped the ball into the back of the net from 18 yards out.
The girls held strong defensively in the second half. The girls had several chances to add to the lead but could not find a quality finish. The Tigers applied attacking pressure, and goalkeeper Caroline Leibel made a brilliant save on a ball that was going just under the crossbar with about 15 minutes left in the half to preserve the shutout. With starting center back Rachel Jones out with an injury, backs Gaby Tirado, Elizabeth Leibel, Aubrey Munoz, Hailey Miller, Katherine Trimble and Maggie Gabany all played extremely well against a strong and physical Brentsville squad.
