The girls traveled to Front Royal to take on an exhausted and depleted Warren County squad under very windy and cool conditions. Even with only 3 subs available due to injuries and scheduling conflicts, the girls were clearly more rested than their counterparts from Warren County who were playing their fifth game in six days. The girls jumped out to an early lead when Cassidy Wagoner passed the ball across the 6 yard box to Megan Enos who made it 1-0 5:40 into the game. Megan struck again 18 minutes into the game when center midfielder Natalie Bennett played a great through ball giving Megan a breakaway that she easily slipped past the Wildcat's goalkeeper. Just over 4 minutes later Megan stepped in and won a Wildcat goal kick, dribbled into the penalty box and buried the shot for a 3-0. With 13 minutes left in the half Megan created havoc again, getting behind the Wildcat back line. The Wildcat's keeper came off her line early and made the initial save, but the ball was collected by Cassidy who chipped the ball in from 18 yards out.
Megan struck again 1 minute into the second half when right winger Megan Diehl made a beautiful pass from the right side that Megan struck as it rolled into her path for her fourth goal of the game. Megan Enos capped off a 5 goal game just under 10 minutes into the second half by again winning a goal kick, driving into the penalty box and slotting a shot past the diving Wildcat's goalkeeper. Julie Kohler capped of the scoring with goals in the 17th and 25th minute of the second half, once off a pass from Hailey Miller and once from winning the ball from a defender, dribbling in and beating the defenseless Wildcat's goalkeeper. The final score was 8-0 over a very weary Wildcat team.
