Recap: On Senior Night an injury plagued Falcons team scored in the third and fourth minute of the game en route to a 7-1 win. Caity Ashley scored first taking a beautiful through ball from left winger Sierra Kroencke, dribbling into the 18 yard box and placing the ball into the right corner of the goal. Just over a minute later midfielder Rachel Dorsey found Julie Kohler out on the right wing and Julie carried the ball into the box and scored the first of her four goals on night. Just 10 minutes into the game center midfielder Hayley Dodds passed the ball to Elizabeth Domann out on the left wing and Elizabeth's shot beat the Wildcats goalkeeper giving the Falcons a 3-0 lead. The Wildcats defense stiffened after three early goals and the score remained 3-0 going into the second half.
The Falcons broke though again 10 minutes into the second half when Hayley Dodds again found Julie Kohler in space out on the right wing and Julie scored her second goal of the game. The Falcons fifth goal came 22 minutes into the second half when Julie Kohler passed the ball in to Rachel Dorsey who played a quick pass to Caity Ashley who beat the Wildcats keeper for her second goal of the game. Shortly after the Falcons had taken a 5-0 lead, the Wildcats mounted a strong counter attack down the right hand side and scored to narrow the lead to 5-1. Just a minute after the Wildcats goal, Julie Kohler scored her third of the night dribbling past two defenders before putting the ball in the back of the net. The final goal came with 11 minutes remaining when center midfielder Mia Barreda made a great pass to Julie Kohler who dribbled in and scored her fourth goal of the game giving the Falcons a 7-1 win going into the final game of the regular season.
