Recap - In a close and highly competitive game, the Cougars grabbed the lead late in the first half on a beautiful goal scored when Taylor Decker took the ball down the left side and crossed it into the box where Ivana Szwejkowski smashed in a side foot volley from about 6 yards outs.  The Falcons battled back to tie the score when Cassidy Wagoner was fouled just outside the 18 yard box.  Rachel Dorsey set up to take the free kick from about 22 yards out and hit a tremendous shot into the upper left hand corner of the net, beating the Cougar wall and All-District goalkeeper Hannah Carr to even the score at 1-1.  The teams continued to battle, but the score remained tied at the end of the 80 minutes of regulation.  After four 5 minute overtime periods the score was still tied 1-1, so the game was decided by penalty kicks.  The Cougars scored on all 5 of their kicks to earn the 2-1 win.
