Girls Lose Again to Talented Courtland Squad

The Courtland attack proved to be too much for the girls to handle as the Cougars scored two first half and two second half goals en route to a 4-1 win at home. On the bright side goalkeeper Caroline Liebel recorded 11 first half saves and Emma Averna recorded 8 second half saves. The girls also scored for the first time this season against the Cougars when Laura Cornish took a free kick from the right side between the penalty box and the touchline. Striker Cassidy Wagoner was able to get a controlling touch and side foot the ball into the right hand corner just over 21 minutes into the second half.
