Goals -  Natalie Burns received a ball down the right flank and passed the ball into Sedona Bisek who was 12 yards from goal. Sedona squeezed in a shot that hit the bottom of the crossbar and just crossed the goal line with 9:25 remaining in the first half. Natalie came in from the right and played a ball down the middle to Erin Jones.  Erin played through a tackle and punched the ball into the right hand side of the goal 5:59 into the second half. Sedona won a ball in the middle of the field 35 yards out, dribbled in an scored 20:08 minutes into the second half. Sedona flicked a headed ball to Erika Smith on the right side of the goal.  Erika dribbled in a and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper just under 26 minutes into the second half. Sofie Marino played a ball out to Natalie who was racing in from the right, and Natalie buried a shot into the left hand corner of the goal with 4:00 remaining in the second half.

Goal -  Madeleine Hayes received the ball on the right side of the 18-yard box, drove in to the goal line and cut a crossed ball back across the 6 yard area.  Tarah Markell buried a right-footed volley to make the game competitive again midway into the second half.

Goals - Madeleine Hayes took the ball down the left side of the penalty box to the goal line, and cut the ball back to Natalie Burns who scored from 6 yards out 22:20 into the second half. Madeleine received a pass in the midfield, turned and dribbled down the center of the field.  She passed the ball to Erika Smith who had found space out on the right.  Erika dribbled in and slotted it past the goalkeeper with 30 seconds remaining in the half.

Goals - Madeleine Hayes direct from a corner kick, 1:33 into the first half. Madeleine Hayes drove the ball down the left side to the goal line and cut the ball back to Erika Smith, who finished from 6 yards out 2:58 into the first half. Natalie Burns intercepted a goal kick on the right side, dribbled in and took a shot.  The goalkeeper made the initial save, but Natalie scored on the follow up shot 10:03 into the first half. Sedona Bisek converted a penalty kick 11:08 into the first half. Left back Tarah Markell played a ball to Erika, who dribbled in and finished from 12 yards out 21:59 into the first half. Madeleine cut the ball back to Sedona from the left side, and Sedona finished from 8 yards out with 10:30 left in the first half. Right back Kristina Davis passed the ball to Natalie on the right wing and then made a forward run.  Natalie played the ball down the line to Kristina, and Kristina took the ball on the dribble, crossed the ball into the 6-yard area, and Erika slotted the ball past the goalkeeper 2:26 into the second half. Sedona intercepted a goal kick 9:22 into the second half, dribbled in from the right and finished from 12 yards out. With 11:51 played in the second half, Sedona won the ball at midfield, dribbled in and scored from the right side from about 12 yards out. Kelsie Emmer took a pass out on the left flank, turned and drove upfield, crossing the ball into Sedona who finished from 15 yards out 16:32 into the second half. Attacking midfielder Sofie Marino slotted a pass through to Erika who dribbled around the goalkeeper and scored from about 8 yards out 17:12 into the second half.

Goals -  Madeleine Hayes corner kick headed in at the far post by Sedona Bisek 5:06 into the second half. Left winger Kelsie Emmer passed the ball in to center mid Madeleine Hayes.  Madeleine split two backs with a pass to Sedona Bisek, who shifted to get the ball onto her right foot and drove the ball into the back of the net from 20 yards out with 8:42 remaining in the second half.

The Knights had a 2 goal lead inside the first 10 minutes of the match.  The score was still 2-0 at halftime.  In the second half, the gap closed to 2-1 at 7:31 minutes into the second half when Sedona Bisek won the ball on the left hand side and broke away from the back line, slotting a shot into the right corner. Both teams had chances, but the game remained 2-1 until the 34th minute in the second half.   With just 6 minutes remaining, the Knights were awarded a penalty kick for a “phantom” penalty that supposedly occurred after the play was dead and goalkeeper Emily Williamson had already made the save.  The Knights converted the penalty kick and John Champe opened their season with a 3-1 win.

7:36 into the first half, Natalie Burns dribbled in form the right flank and passed the ball to Madeleine Hayes.  Madeleine faked, then turned and got off a shot for the opening goal. With 9:04 remaining in the first half, Madeleine took the ball down the left side then passed the ball back to Sofie Marino outside of the 18-yard box.  Sofie lofted a shot over the goalkeeper. On the second half kickoff, Erika Smith played the ball wide to Madeleine on the left flank.  Madeleine dribbled to the goal line and cut inside, and crossed the ball across the 6-yard box.  Sedona Bisek scored with a strong header 15 seconds into the half. With 11;10 remaining in the second half, Natalie Burns intercepted a goal kick played out to the left.  She dribbled in and placed a shot into the right corner. With 3:07 left in the game, Sedona played a diagonal ball through to Natalie out on the left, and Natalie dribbled in and squeezed in a shot between the goalkeeper, who got a hand on the ball, and the near post.
