Biography:

Coach Ron Moon, FHS Lacrosse Head Coach & Varsity Head Coach

Coach Moon was a midfielder in the Vanderbilt/Nashville club lacrosse program in the 90's. He began serving as a lacrosse coach in Fauquier County in 2007 with the Fauquier Youth Lacrosse League and transitioned to Fauquier High School; coaching in either forum or both in order to help meet the needs of the local lacrosse community. 

Coach Moon and Coach Quatye formed a local men's lacrosse travel team, Apocalypse Lacrosse, to provide players broader opportunity and exposure. He is certified by US Lacrosse in both Women's and Men's Lacrosse.

Biography:

Coach JB Tippett, Varsity Assistant Coach 

Coach Tippett is a US Lacrosse Level 3 Certified Men’s Lacrosse Coach. An attackman and midfielder from the late 90s and early 20s, a graduate of the United States Military Academy, he has been coaching lacrosse for the last 8 years with Fauquier Youth Lacrosse League where he coaches two teams and is the boys commissioner for the league. He is also the an assistant coach for the Battlelax 2024 Travel team.

Coach Quayye Moon, Assistant Coach 

Coach Quatye has coached Men's Fauquier High School JV Lacrosse for three years. She filmed the Men's Fauquier High School Varsity Lacrosse games for the past two years. She helped form and coach a local Men's Lacrosse travel team, Apocalypse Lacrosse, to provide players broader opportunity and exposure. Coach Quatye is certified by US Lacrosse in Men's Lacrosse.

Coach Travis Brooks, JV Head Coach 

Coach Brooks is a US Lacrosse Level 3 Certified Men’s Lacrosse Coach. An attackman from the late 80s and early 90s, he has been coaching lacrosse since the late 90s beginning as a Varsity Coach for Stafford HS, then Prince William Lacrosse, and for the last 8 years with Fauquier’s Youth Lacrosse League where he coaches two teams and is the chairman for the league. He is also the head coach for the Battlelax 2024 Travel team.

Biography:

Coach Sean Polster, JV Assistant Coach 

Coach Polster is a US Lacrosse Level 1 Certified Men’s Lacrosse Coach. He’s worked as an assistant lacrosse coach with both the FYLL and WYSC here in Warrenton and believes that youth learn best when they are having fun in a structured environment that also helps builds character and integrity.
