Winter Conditioning Schedule for Boys Lacrosse
Monday-Wednesday-Friday:
Weight room Workout – bench press; sit ups, pushups, pull-ups and flexibility (stretching). Push yourself to get results. The focus should be on developing your core and being lean and fit.
Sprint/Cardio Workout – Start off with 10 sprints -- 2 @ 10 yards, 2 @ 20 yards, 2 @ 40 yards, 2 @ 60 yards and 2 @ 80 yards. Jog back to the start line and repeat. Remember, up and back counts as one. Stadium steps up and back for starters; increase your number as you become comfortable. At least two days out of the week you need to plug in a mile and half run. You want your time to be in the 9-11 minute range.
Tuesday-Thursday:
Skills Work and Agilities – bring your equipment
